Director US Marketing

Hasbro’s US Marketing Team has an immediate need for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative senior level marketer to lead an exciting portfolio of Marvel brands, including the Avengers, Black Panther, Spider-Man and Marvel Legends. In this critical, high-profile role you will serve as a key business leader to drive brand strategy and deliver financial results across this important portfolio of brands.
A day in the life of the Director, US Marketing, Marvel:
• Develop and implement brand and business strategies to meet financial objectives.
• Drive the creation and execution of fully integrated marketing plans, including consumer communications strategy, comprehensive media plan and consumer promotions.
• Responsible for driving brand revenue and profitability against financial targets.
• Drive the brand financial strategy and plan, including forecasting, inventory build, pricing and marketing budget to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Provide leadership and creative thinking to the analysis of market trends and competitive activity, and the identification of new market opportunities.
• Oversee analysis and communication of business performance metrics to drive and influence decision making both internally and externally.
• Provide strategic direction to US Sales Organization to drive business at retail, including channel strategy, prioritization and leading customer sell-in.
• Act as key point person with Global Brand Team to provide strategic input and direction for US market.
• Act as key liaison to Licensors on all US-related business matters.
• Lead a team of experienced marketers assigned to various brand priorities.
What you'll bring:
• 10+ years of progressive brand/ strategy experience in a forward-thinking consumer organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
• A successful track record delivering programs that meet or exceed corporate financial goals.
• Excellent leadership and team building/management skills; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others.
• Proven ability to transform a strategy and vision into actionable plans in a rapidly-changing fast-paced organization.
• Expertise in planning, prioritizing and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple priorities, determine urgency and create detailed action plans.
• Proven experience building and mentoring a team.
• Capable of shaping a clear strategic vision and effectively communicating that vision throughout all levels of the organization
• Compelling communication skills: ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders and the ability to influence others to adopt his/her recommendations.
• Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track.
• Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
