Associate Director Planning - Center of Excellence

The Associate Director North America Planning is responsible for overseeing Demand and Supply Planning activities within the Planning Tower at the regional level.
The key purpose of this role is to:
• Provide disciplined execution to the globally defined demand and supply planning process
• Implement, adopt key capabilities aligned with Regional and Global strategic priorities to drive business results
• Provide analytics supported by data to allow business to make decisions
• Ensure successful execution of daily and weekly management system
• Provide an acceptable application availability service level
• Ensure prioritization delivery of system functionality
Main Responsibilities
• Serve as the voice of the regional Demand and Supply Planning (DSP) COE, specifying the process, the best practice and proven implementation templates. Recognized as the regional authority on Demand & Supply Planning processes and tools.
• Lead and facilitate the execution of daily and weekly management processes
• Responsible and accountable for overall governance for Demand and Supply Planning at the regional level, including KPI management (i.e. inventory and service levels). Lead and implement necessary KPI scorecards and benchmarking activities within the region.
• Ensure compliance to industry and company best practices through working in close collaboration with Global Supply Chain Excellence CoE.
• Ensure that all phases of Demand and Supply Planning within the region are executed according to best practice, including assessments, education and training sessions, leadership orientation, implementation and ongoing
audit and assessment (sustain) phases of Demand and Supply Planning.
• Work closely with the Product Supply and the Commercial Business to implement demand and supply planning policies
• Drive Demand & Supply Planning qualification process, training, adoption within the region and ensure alignment of training and certification programs to global standards
• Ensure daily continuity of the business planning systems by ensuring the right level of application and functional support is provided to the business
• Work with the business and ITS organizations to prioritize and implement new functionality / capabilities that result in better business performance metrics
• Communicate performance metrics with appropriate root cause analysis to Regional CS&L and ISC leadership, including escalation of issues and risks
• Management, mentorship and coaching of all members of the COE
Qualifications
Experience and Education
• 15 years of work experience
• 10-12 years of Supply Chain planning experience
• 10-12 years of CPG experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
• SAP APO experience preferred
