Join our Integrated Operations team as a Director of Data management! This role provides leadership and direction for the creation and maintenance of the SAP Global Template and the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategies which defines the desired state and roadmaps. This role is also responsible for data accuracy across multiple domains and systems as well as meeting milestones per M9 (project development methodology) and contracted stakeholder dates for key processes supporting the LCP and new product launch as well as ongoing motorcycle production. This position will drive standardization and continuous improvement through documentation, training, tools development, metrics, analysis, and layered audits. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

• Vehicle Configuration [AS400 and SAP Variant Configuration]
• Color Chart
• Roll Test Gateway
• PLM & CAD Administration, Issue Resolution
• Enterprise Change
• BOM (Bill of Material) [AS400 and SAP iPPE-Product]
• BOM Allocation
• Material Master
• Process Structure [SAP iPPE-Process]
• COE owner for Product Data Management (PDM) process area in SAP and PLM overall.
• Responsible for Master Data Governance for domains in represented process areas.
• Facilitate gathering business requirements, capabilities and value for PLM and SAP solutions.
• Drive global design (process and system solution) consistency and facilitate enterprise key decisions.
• Ensure implemented solutions meet business requirements.
• Assess current system/process capabilities for gaps, improvement opportunities and alignment with strategy.
• Responsible for assessing business readiness and preparing the organization for change.
• Support PLM and SAP project delivery and implementation.
• Responsible for business sustain activities including system enhancements.
• Provide leadership and direction in the development of the SAP Global Template roadmap representing Product Development, Materials, Manufacturing.
• Lead development of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) roadmap supporting Engineering, Materials, Product Compliance, Manufacturing.
• Responsible for team development, engagement and employee development for a global organization.
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience Required
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 12 years related experience. In addition, the qualified candidate will have demonstrated the following:
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Demonstrated broad knowledge of concepts, methods and terminology and substantial hands on experience producing high value measurable results on complex projects including problem solving skills (root cause analysis, etc.), product development, process design and analysis, project management and Manufacturing / Materials Operations Management.
• Knowledge of concepts, methods and terminology with moderate hands on.
• Track record of providing strong technical thought leadership to the organization.
• History of working with others up, down, and across the organization to get results.
• Demonstrated ability to establish clear strategic vision and provide leadership to deliver upon organizational goals and objectives.
