Responsibilities:
• Work closely with various department members to deliver artwork to meet key time lines for retailer specials.
• Assist in the development of new licensed products including conceiving and making physical prototypes of more complex 3D paper products as needed.
• Assist in the preparation for retailer presentations, as necessary. Includes providing trend information and special product designs.
• Work with Graphic Design and Production especially in more complex aspects of digital file creation, under supervisory direction.
• Research and utilize competitive information provided by sales analysts on related category products to provide new product development ideas and applications to existing products.
• Ensure that products under creative development are completed according to schedule.
• Maintain computer and server file organization.
• Complete purchase orders and coordinate design assignments with outside freelancers and art groups.
• Participate in the committee review process for products developed by the Seasonal team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or equivalent.
• Strong design capabilities with a minimum of 3 years experience in graphic arts, design or closely related field. Licensed product design experience a plus.
• High level of skill, speed, and accuracy in the Mac platform including Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office.
• Crafting ability with experience in making product prototypes.
• Must be creative and solution-driven with the ability to multi-task.
• Deadline conscious and detail oriented with the ability to self direct priorities.
• Strong communication skills necessary; frequent communication with internal teams as well as external freelance artists, art houses and licensors.
