Job Summary
Apple is looking for a talented and experienced Creative Director, Brand Voice to join as a key member of the Retail Marketing Today at Apple Creative Team. You will create innovative and compelling experiences across live / digital experiences in Apple stores and other key touch-points. You’ll play a critical role steering the brand voice and creating compelling stories that inspire and educate Apple customers worldwide; in the areas of Arts & Design, to Film-making, Photography, Music, to coding, business and education. Today at Apple is one of the ways we’re evolving our Retail experience to inspire and educate our customers. In the role of Creative Director, Brand Voice, you will manage a team of creative writers and content creators to develop and execute Today at Apple creative programming, Brand, and marketing projects. You will work in partnership with the Creative Director of the Today at Apple team on the creative output of the work - making sure all programs have the right voice and feel across a variety of platforms. You are savvy and have a passion for unearthing and telling compelling stories, that delight and inspire. You should posses the skills to work across a complex matrix of stakeholders to bring cross-functional ideas to life around the world. Key Qualifications
• 10+ years minimum experience in-house brand or agency experience leading diverse teams to drive and execute messaging and content across multiple channels (social, brand, email, see, digital, retail,)
• Broad background experience developing and implementing brand voice guidelines successfully for other brands. And the ability to confidently create, evaluate, and re-direct when necessary to achieve objectives.
• Solid expertise in developing creative solutions in a variety of campaigns, across a broad range of problems and media including advertising, print, video/broadcast, interactive (web, DM, and social networking), retail communications, and channel POS.
• In-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process. This includes effectively and efficiently staffing projects, providing clear communication and creative direction, giving timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions.
• Editorial and or Journalism experience a must.
• Scriptwriting and series based content development a must
• Experience with global, omni-channel content involving translations across multiple languages.
Description
Lead copywriting responsibility in creating original, culturally relevant, programming and content: from Today at Apple session concepts, to marketing deliverables. You will poses a passion for people and culture. Follow the latest trends in content production and technology. Establish and direct Brand Voice, copy development, content and inform strategy for Today at Apple across all channels and platforms. You’ll help create, define and execute content, campaigns and messaging that will set the benchmark across Today at Apple touch-points and guide the consistent use of guidelines and principles across the Today at Apple ecosystem. Build and lead an in-house copy team to create engaging, elevated, and strategic copy solutions for all Today at Apple touch-points across the entire marketing messaging funnel to support Today at Apple and continue to build brand equity with our customers. Establish, lead, evolve, and drive the global adoption of the Today at Apple brand voice and guidelines. Use your creativity and conceptual thinking to develop thoughtful authentic storytelling for all platforms. Effectively scales creative solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters. Expert ability to develop well-conceived innovative creative work that implements the strategy. Ability to effectively work with other creative staff members, vendors, Stakeholders and freelancers. Good conceptual and problem solving skills. Excellent Copywriting and Script development skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development. Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff. Great presentation skills. Excellent written and oral skills. Be able to meet deadlines on assigned projects. Relied upon to concept and shepard high quality creative work in a variety of media that pushes the Apple brand forward.
Education
BA or BS degree or other related field preferred.
