Job Title: Finance Director, NBV & CFO, Smooth Ambler
Department: New Brand Ventures

Position Summary:
Finance Director, New Brand Ventures (NBV) – The primary responsibilities of this position are to oversee financial tracking and analysis, planning, A&P budget, T&E and structure costs for New Brand Ventures. Additional responsibilities are to orchestrate stage-gate reviews & enforce success criteria to ensure proper success/failure rates as well as to serve as connection to mainline Finance organization both in US and globally.
CFO, Smooth Ambler – Position has responsibility for all accounting of Smooth Ambler’s operations, monthly reporting, quarterly board reviews, semi-annual consolidation reporting to parent company, Annual Budget submission, Accounts Payable and T&E processes. Position is to be local authority on US accounting standards and is to ensure records are in compliance with these standards. Position will also include assistance with general coordination with PRUSA for HR, Legal, and IT support and enforcement of the Shareholder’s Agreement.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Orchestrate stage-gate reviews & enforce success criteria to ensure proper success/failure rates. (20%)
• Serve as connection to mainline Finance organization both in US and globally. (10%)
• Responsible for accounting best practices, monthly reporting, quarterly board reviews, semi-annual consolidation and Annual Budget. General coordination with PRUSA for HR, Legal, and IT support. Enforcement of the Shareholder’s Agreement. (25%)
• Ad hoc projects as requested by management. (10%)
Nature & Scope:
Position will interact directly with Senior Vice President of New Brand Ventures, Vice President of BP&A, CEO of Smooth Ambler, to name a few. Outcomes of analysis and decision-making can impact final Field and Brand Leader spending levels, which directly impacts company profitability.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance (or accounting); MBA preferred
Experience / Background: Minimum 8-10 years of experience; prefer combination of financial planning and field experience. Strong commercial background with significant exposure to the Sales and Marketing functions.
Travel estimated to be 10-20% of the time.
