Helen of Troy is hiring a Senior Director, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce– for our Beauty division – to drive the strategy and execution of multi-channel digital marketing, e-commerce retailer support and development, as well as e-commerce management for B2C and B2B. We are seeking someone who can elevate existing digital and e-commerce functions to enable growth. You (and your team) will serve as the subject matter experts in digital marketing tactics and e-commerce while partnering closely with brand marketing teams, sales teams, and web developers.
Relocation assistance to El Paso, TX is offered.
Our Beauty division is based in El Paso, Texas. Key Beauty brands include Hot Tools®, Revlon®, Pro Beauty Tools®, Sure®, Pert®, Infusium23®, Brut®, Ammens®, Sea Breeze®, Bed Head®, Karina®, and Gold ‘N Hot®. Under this portfolio of brands, products include hair appliances (dryers, straighteners, curling irons, hair-setters, hot-air brushes and shavers), brushes/combs, hair accessories, liquid hair styling products (treatments, shampoos, conditioners), skin care products, and deodorants/antiperspirants.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Senior Director, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce will be a self-motivated creative problem solver responsible for digital activation and content including social media, influence, owned website, SEM/SEO (all owned, earned and paid) – while leading best-in-class strategy. You will own the B2C and B2B e-commerce channels. Additionally, you will coordinate with brick & mortar (B&M) brand leadership to ensure alignment of the digital and e-commerce strategies. The Senior Director, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce will be a hands-on, collaborative, forward thinking leader with strong change management and communication skills.
Senior Director, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Key Responsibilities:
• Lead digital marketing strategy and development.
• Lead content strategy and development.
• Identify content gaps and work with cross-functional teams to development content that meets strategy objectives.
• Modernize digital content with an appropriate focus on influencer marketing.
• Support the achievement of omnichannel excellence.
• Drive e-commerce P&L for B2C and B2B.
• Lead online merchandising.
• Build a strong consumer experience through Amazon and other online retailers.
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations to optimize digital analysis and reporting.
• Build and manage digital marketing budget to deliver high ROI campaigns.
• Manage agency usage and tool selection for SEM, email marketing, web-enhanced content, product reviews, and social media providers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to build and maintain best-in-class websites.
• Maintain brand equity across digital materials through partnering with brand, licensing, and creative teams.
• Support sales teams with the digital shelf and online content across our portfolio of products.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by staying current with evolving online media and technology as well as competitive activity, trends, and new products/enhancements.
• Lead a team focused on digital merchandising, digital marketing, and social media.
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
Requirements For Consideration:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree a plus.
• 7+ years’ experience with digital and/or e-commerce management. Consumer products experience a plus.
• Track record of achieving results contributing to sales/profit growth and successful brand building.
• Superior understanding of marketing concepts and consumer behavior, with forward-thinking to seek new digital approaches to lead the industry.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics and tools such as Google analytics, Magento, Drupal, Profitero, Sprinklr and similar.
• Experience using digital media analytics, reporting, dashboards, and software tools such as DOMO or Tableau.
• Ability to use professional expertise and insights to make recommendations.
• Ability to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail, and with excellent follow-through.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Superior collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience leading direct reports and developing talent.
• Experience with eCRM implementation, Oracle, and/or Salesforce a plus.
• Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong aptitude for building a culture of trust, integrity and performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
