About the Job:
• Manage all aspects of the day to day account relationship with key national retailer
• Partner with Sales VP to develop annual business plan
• Develop strategies for growth across all ten product lines and create and execute appropriate tactics to meet objectives
• Partner with retailer to create and execute sales initiatives and promotions
• Utilize expert business management practices to efficiently analyze the business for opportunities
• Work with internal demand planning team to create monthly forecasts
• Work with internal product teams to execute the annual business plan
• Meet weekly with retailer Category Managers to review the business, solve problems, develop opportunities, and manage the relationship on a weekly basis
• Assist retailer in inventory and order management on a weekly basis
What You Need:
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in in sales and/or territory management
• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior National Account/Mass Merchant account management experience
• Proven sales and account management skills
• Extreme attention to detail and the ability to follow through
• Bias for taking action to solve problems
• Efficiency minded with the ability to juggle multiple tasks across multiple product lines
• Ability to convey the features and benefits of each product line to customers with excellent presentations skills
• High proficiency in MS Office programs
• Familiarity with BW, BEX, and SAP a plus
• Understanding and experience with the S&OP process
• Experience with annual account planning process
• Business and financial acumen
• Strong understanding of guitar equipment concepts
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time
