Sales Director, RespirTech (National)
In this role, you have the opportunity to:
The Director of Sales is directly accountable for top line sales results of the company. The position is responsible for the strategic development of the sales plan, the execution of the sales plan, and the revenue generation plans that link to the company’s overall growth goal. This position is also responsible for the effective communication and interaction with the Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts to work collaboratively to achieve the company’s overall sales and revenue goals.
In this role, you have the opportunity to:
• Directly manager 9 Regional Sales Managers, and indirectly manage their teams consisting of Territory Managers & Clinical Consultants. (76 Indirect Reports)
• Drive new business and program development from concept through implementation.
• Recruit and manage performance requirements of Regional Sales Managers.
• Develop business proposals and business plans for targeted market segments.
• Enhance relationships with existing clients and partners to drive development and implementation of new program offerings.
• Work with external/internal clinical teams to develop cross-functional and cross product offerings and specify requirements for enhancing the customer experience through customer care department and marketing engagement.
• Utilizes educational opportunities within the organization to educate internal staff and develop programs for educational learning sessions with HCT’s.
• Monitor and report on the competitive landscape for strategic insight and opportunity development.
• Collaborate with Research and Development team to drive development and implementation of new product offerings.
• Target, attend, and participate in professional conferences and trade shows.
• Plan and manage department budget.
• Assists with regulatory and compliance matters as needed.
• Attends HIPAA training and other training sessions as they arise.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
You are a part of:
• The RespirTech Leadership team. You will report into the Sales & Marketing Leader, and will partner directly with other senior leadership for all of RespirTech.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• BA Degree
• 7+ years of successful sales management experience with proven results; Physician, Clinical and/or medical team direct sales experience required.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills relating to growing the revenue of a company
• Proven creative problem solver and troubleshooter
• Demonstrated track record of innovation and creativity in sales strategies and tactics
• Business development experience in medical or DME environment strongly preferred
• Demonstrated track record of cultivating new business opportunities and generating profitable growth.
• Advanced skills in the development, management and retention of business development staff.
• Expense and budget analysis skills and experience
• Refined verbal, presentation and written communication skills aimed at all levels from executive leaders to team members.
• Experienced and effective in team and relationship building.
• Experience with Microsoft products and CRM modules.
• Ability to identify opportunities to implement program improvements, which enhance customer relationships and retention.
• Developing and presenting business proposals.
• Manages multiple deliverables and meeting deadlines.
