Position Highlights:
The Director of Finance (FD) isresponsible for providing planning, strategic and operational analysis supportto senior management with a focus on driving business growth and drivingoperational efficiency. The FD leads thedevelopment and maintenance of the methodologies used for organizationalreporting to ensure the overall effectiveness, ease of use and integrity ofdata. This position is responsible for the oversight of non-standard managementreports, operational analysis, statistical studies, and developing recommendedcourses of action for all operational areas of the assigned Business Unit (BU).This position is responsible for analyzing and developing current and futurefinancial systems and reporting tools, processes and formats for management. Further,the Director will be responsible for developing and managing the BU’s Sales andMarketing budget process, rolling forecasts and short-term and long-rangeplans.
The FD will be a collaborativepartner and resource for business leaders and will work closely with the seniorleadership team on customer economics, operating inputs, and the financialplanning process.
This role requires a leader whois highly effective in coaching and feedback, talent selection and assessment,and team and individual development. TheFinance Director must be able to motivate and inspire a high-performingworkforce, while focusing on professional development and growth of each teammember.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
StrategicPlanning
• Supports Chief Growth Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales in developing multi-year business and profitable growth strategies to deliver increased market share by developing financial performance goals with focus on maximizing performance within key business drivers.
• Collaborates and partners with business leaders to maximize revenues and operating cash flows and building long term shareholder value, by providing financial counsel and advice.
• Providesguidance in the formulation and management of Sales and Marketing budgets toensure the effective execution of the business strategy. Works with BU managersto develop long and short-term action plans and measure their results.
• Provides framework and leadership indeveloping cost effective ways to grow ADT’s market share.
OperationalManagement
• Translatesdata into high-value, actionable insights for senior leadership and businesspartners, developing and refining new analyses in response to business needs,and bringing expertise on emerging trends.
• Validatesand improves existing metrics and creates new resources for data-driveninsights (both internal and external). Provides leadership on metricdefinitions and analytic methodologies to assess key business value drivers.
• Managesand performs analyses and research in all financial areas such as revenue,expense performance, and cash flow.
• Develops,prepares, and analyzes financial reports based on actual, forecast, and budgetdata.
• Preparesdetail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed analysis and research,identifies options, prepares reports for management, and recommends actions orchanges.
• Responsiblefor evaluating the economics related to various sales and marketing programs
• Educatesleadership team on Monthly Reporting packages, Financials, and Planning processincluding high-level messages, insights and business impact. Researches andimplements better uses of available financial data.
• Leadsfield SOX and ADT policy compliance (audits, compliance, policy).
• Activelyadvocates and ensures the successful implementation of corporate sponsoredprograms and activities
• Overseesthe completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring andreviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.
Education/ Work Experience Required:
• Bachelors Degreein either Finance/Accounting or equivalent. MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years ofdirectly related finance experience required.
• Extensiveleadership and project management experience with the ability to organize andmanage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Extensiveexperience with developing and executing on business strategies and risks.
• Thorough knowledgeand understanding of financial and business management principles with theability to communicate and prioritize business requirements.
• Strong executivepresence and presentation skills.
• Commitment tocontinuous improvement in a dynamic environment; constantly striving to exceedexpectations.
• Proactive andsolution oriented approach toward business issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (e.g. Excel(modeling), Access, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience withHyperion products (Essbase/Enterprise).
