Job Description
Anyone looking to advance his or her career and lead creative direction for a large digital marketing program, then this position is for you. As Associate Digital Creative Director, you will interact with the Digital Marketing team -- including Creative and Ecommerce Merchandising. Your role will focus on developing website creative and visual strategy and provide support for a broad array of digital marketing programs ranging from social and display media as well as apps; candidates must be able to multi-task, lead a team of graphic designers and manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced retail environment. As a team contributor, this person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively. Assists in management of outside creative partners and agencies.
The ideal candidate will have an innate curiosity about the entire digital creative space, understanding of various online marketing platforms and experience with commonly used design tools. Qualified candidates should have experience designing the following types of digital assets: banner advertising, email templates, website assets, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Snapchat ads and native ads as well as user experience and look and feel for apps. Experience executing full digital campaigns is preferred. In addition, the candidate should be comfortable working with senior company executives, as this is a highly visible role within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Lead team of Digital Graphic Designers. Provide support and mentorship to Digital Graphic Designers and Production Artists.
• Works with Creative team to support creative strategy through digital asset design and execution.
• Assist in ad hoc creative request relating to banner assets, site design and promotional assets.
• Conducting competitive research to stay current, including design insights and trends.
• Participate in creative briefing, testing, and brainstorming.
• Assist with leading creative direction with outside agency and partners
Required:
• Bachelor's degree required. Marketing/Design Major preferred.
• 4-6 years experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office Skills -- Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites: Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with Animation tools.
• Strong design portfolio. Digital campaign experience preferred.
