Director, Environmental, Health & Safety – Manufacturing
As the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), you will lead the EHS programs across our North American Hot Manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for the environmental, occupational health and safety performance and ensuring alignment to world class EHS standards. You will work in a matrix organization and be a transformational leader.
What you will do:
• Ensures all EHS processes and procedures are implemented and standardized across our manufacturing network. Work with Engineering to participate in facilities and equipment design.
• Interpret the business impact of EHS laws, standards, or regulatory requirements and provide management systems to ensure compliance. Oversee audits across the network.
• Track company health and safety metrics and use the data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with leaders to ensure alignment of the EHS programs with business needs.
• Ensure training programs are high quality and comply with applicable health and safety laws, regulations, and standard, as well as other engineering and work standards.
• Coach leaders at all levels to develop high performing teams who embrace a culture of safety.
• Follow all Keurig Green Mountain policies and procedures
Qualifications
What you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in environment, safety, business, engineering, or equivalent field, advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing organization, with a mix of manufacturing, safety and/ or engineering assignments.
• Experience managing an EHS organization
• Professional certifications ASP, CSP, CIH, PE, CHMM or related discipline preferred
• Experience with EHS laws, regulations, and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of world class safety best practices and ability to implement them across multiple manufacturing units.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow all HR procedures including HIPPA compliance.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time
