Sales Director, Healthcare IT (South Zone)
In this role you have the opportunity to:
Reporting to the HIT Sales Leader, North America, provide leadership to our South HIT U.S Sales Organization. Leading a team of HIT Account Managers, the incumbent has the responsibility to develop and lead his or her team through the successful execution of the HIT sales strategy and ultimately grow the HIT business in the region. This leader is responsible for managing the assigned region, including meeting or exceeding order volume targets and operational budgeted costs, ensuring the account managers and other specialists work together synergistically to achieve the total region goals and objectives.
You are responsible for:
• Communicate and drive execution of the HIT Sales Strategy
• Develop strong knowledge of market, accounts, competition and industry trends and utilize in creation of Regional Sales Strategy
• Develop a Regional Sales Strategy to achieve or exceed goals, metrics and expectations
• Direct the development of HIT AMs
• In conjunction with HIT business manager, manage and drive funnel growth and forecast accuracy.
• Achieve balanced selling across the entire HIT portfolio in the Region
• Work with EI, CAI and ISP market leaders to ensure that all 3 solutions are successfully represented in the region and that the specialist’s organization is aligned with the HIT account managers’ objectives
• Coach AMs in executing their business and hold them accountable for their results
• Participate in key customer meetings to closure
• Develop and leverage relationships to assist the sales team in deal execution
• Create and sustain relationships with key customers at major accounts
• Coach the sales team to meet and manage customer expectations throughout the sales process
• Ensure customer issues are resolved through the escalation process
• Build a strong regional team through hiring, succession planning, and onboarding
• Shape and lead a customer, solutions focused organization
• Act as a transformational leader both with direct teams and peers
• Demonstrate strong planning skills and drive key Core sales initiatives and strategies
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the North America market and its’ dynamics
• Generate entrepreneurial ideas to maximize value, encourages and stimulates creativity in others
• Balance risks and opportunities to maximize value
• Assess and identifies viable breakthrough propositions to grow the business

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• 10+ years of solution selling experience; Five years minimum management responsibility.
• Excellent communication, leadership and change management skills
• Strong executive level interpersonal skills
• Exceptional track record of developing and executing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objective, providing personal leadership through example
• Proven experience navigating and successfully developing complex deals
• A world class, senior level sales professional with a proven track record of success managing people and complex multi discipline sales scenarios
• Demonstrated success at developing and communicating a clear strategic vision and effectively executing that vision
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement Sales Strategies
• Ability to work with and manage by influence a large diverse sales team to close complex sales opportunities
• Possessing the drive and persistency to overcome obstacles are paramount to success in this position
• Successful track record of building and maintaining customer relationships at the “C” level, including CIOs
