Overview
The Trade & Demand Planning Analyst supports Grow Brands and key customers profitably and optimizes business activities. the person in this position is responsible for managing the accuracy of Trade Pro system including broker/business manager input, trade spend tracking, and process improvements. Acts as the primary liaison between business managers, brokers and finance. This position is also responsible for increasing the effectiveness of trade spends.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Serves as subject matter expert for trade system with internal and external customers.
• Ensures accuracy to trade management process steps. Assists business managers to ensure annual plans are loaded completely and accurately, holds broker partners accountable for moving deals from planned to committed in timely manner, and addresses inaccuracies in a timely manner.
• Executes initial and remedial training for all users.
• Collaborates with demand planning and sales to ensure that demand forecasts are accurate for three months out and that systems align (BPC/Trade Pro.).
• Other job-related tasks as directed by management.
• Develops broker scorecards to be used in quarterly plan on a page reviews.
• Develops and maintain trade tracking systems utilizing the trade system as primary source of information.
• Completes Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
◦ Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
◦ Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
◦ Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
◦ Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
◦ Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with Trade Promotion systems or aptitude.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excl, Word, and PowerPoint required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong client and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving required.
