Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition (TA), the TA Operations Director oversees all recruiting operations activity for the enterprise including short term strategy, driving operational excellence, ensuring productivity metrics are achieved, acting as the lead client relationship manager between the Talent Acquisition COE and the various enterprise businesses, reporting and analytics related to operations. This role manages multiple employees and primarily exists to manage the applicant funnel in support of the broader talent acquisition process. As a Director, this role is responsible for employee and organizational matters (e.g., performance evaluations, increases, bonuses, discipline, and promotions. This position is part of the HR Operations (HR Shared Services) and Talent Acquisition leadership teams. This role reports to the VP, Talent Acquisition.
Responsibility Statement:
• Lead the execution of TA enterprise
strategy and continuous improvement initiatives for Talent Acquisition
operations supporting field, corporate, college.
• Lead execution of the talent operations group which
includes all activity related to resume review, screening scheduling, offer
development and pre-hire.
• The primary focus of the talent operations team will
be and low/high volume hourly roles, as well as low/high volume salaried
roles. A large majority of these roles exist in the field, however there are
some corporate and other hourly roles which would be part of talent
operations purview.
• Provide Significant input to and manage the talent
operations plan and budget, although ultimate ownership would be with the VP
of Talent Acquisition.
• Leverage workforce planning inputs to plan the
workflow and ensure the organization is staffed appropriately to handle
peaks/spikes in business.
• Leverage the employment branding strategy to execute
on enabling the organization to attract and engage world class talent.
• Own measurement and tracking of resource performance
around the key domains of cost, quality and speed for talent operations.
• Continually develop knowledge of market trends and
enable best practice learnings in the TA operations space.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and
evaluate the health and welfare function and associated team.
Required Education/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• 10+ years of experience in one or more specialty
functions of Human Resources, with a significant portion focused on Talent
Acquisition Experience with appropriate human resources networks,
organizations, and ongoing community involvement preferred.
• Experience successfully managing multiple priorities
& projects through successful delivery & implementation under time,
budget, and political pressure.
• Experience with an ERP system (PeopleSoft/Workday
preferred).
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (Kenexa
preferred).
• Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the
delivery of HR support in numerous locations
