Job Title:Director, Talent Acquisition

Position Summary: This HR team member will provide first class recruitment services to Pernod Ricard North America. Develop and establish innovative recruiting strategies and agile processes and tools in order to attract the very best diverse talent with the right capabilities to achieve the business strategy and strengthen our employment brand. Function as the discipline leader for talent acquisition, ensuring a high degree of internal customer satisfaction. Primary point of contact to oversee and ensure all recruitment efforts are aligned with the needs of the organization, the HR Strategy and within the assigned budget. Responsible for meeting recruiting metrics which will be developed, measured and communicated regularly to management. In addition, this position is responsible for leading and inspiring 3 direct reports.
A key thought leader and contributor to shaping and implementing the Total Talent Strategy.
Works collaboratively with Total Talent CoP team and other CoP leaders, NA HR Business Partner community, Professional Shared Services team as well as Pernod Ricard Headquarter Talent team to provide: scalable solutions and technology tools to facilitate service delivery and build impactful programs and strategies that understand and continuously improve the entire employee experience.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Recruitment Vision & Strategy (20%)
• Partner with senior management, HR Business Partners and CoP to formulate a clear and effective recruiting strategy in order to meet company goals and business needs. Assess critical demand for key profiles with stakeholders and pro-actively build and manage talent pools.
• Develop and implement the short and long term recruitment vision to deliver on the hiring needs of the organization while also considering diversity, employment brand/EVP and the overall candidate experience.
Recruitment Process (40%)
• Develop and implement practices to create a compelling candidate experience that involves hiring managers and candidates alike. Implement and oversee any specialty recruitment efforts including diversity, internship programs and ensure Company presence at relevant recruitment, industry or networking functions.
• Manage and direct end to end recruitment services from job requisition to offer acceptance in compliance with Federal Contractor and EEO requirements. Evaluate, develop and implement recruitment processes including the internal applicant process, external career web site, applicant tracking systems, interviewing and selection methods, candidate testing and all other facets of candidate acquisition. Function as a recruiter for key positions and as workload allows.
• Educate and coach hiring managers on Pernod Ricard NA recruitment process and proven, rigorous interviewing and selection methods. Ensure all recruitment points of contact to internal and external candidates are properly trained and that they appropriately represent the company and its values/EVP.
• Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and CoP Total Rewards to formulate fair and compelling job offers. Feedback market rates and other relevant compensation intelligence to CoP Total Rewards.
People Management (20%)
• Inspire, lead, coach, empower and direct team to perform and achieve results in line with department goals. Give and solicit timely and constructive feedback. Disseminate relevant information to appropriate team members to keep them informed and aligned.
Resources and Tools (10%)
• Manage all recruiting tools and resources, continually reviewing, assessing and leveraging cutting edge sources, technologies and methods that will deliver overall strategy. Determine need for and manage efforts of external agencies as well as job board usage. Ensure accurate budgeting, management and forecasting of annual recruitment budget. Explore ways to reduce cost per hire while maintaining a high level of quality.
Reporting and Compliance (10%)
• Manage and direct all recruiting reporting needs for Pernod Ricard NA and ensure such reports are accurate and timely. Contribute to EEO, Affirmative Action Plans and Pernod Ricard social reporting. Ensure compliance with all state, federal (Federal Contractor), province and regional laws.
Nature & Scope:Position typically interacts with all levels of management and employees as well as potential employees and recruitment vendors. Communication frequently includes sensitive information, requiring complete confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts. Requires a high level of service responsiveness to internal customers and partnership with HR colleagues, effective written, verbal communication and presentation skills, use of sound judgment, excellent negotiation skills, effective analysis of data; complete discretion in handling sensitive human resources issues and effective relationships with all members of the Human Resources team.
Key Competencies:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Masters degree preferable
Experience / Background: 7 years plus recruiting experience, minimum of 2 years leading recruitment efforts in a fast moving, corporate environment. CPG experience preferred. Proven experience evaluating, designing, and implementing recruitment processes. Experience building employer brand highly regarded. Must have proven experience leading recruitment teams in the US market.
