Opportunity:
The Executive Director of B2B Sales has ownership for managing sales and distribution relationships in order to achieve defined business goals. This position works closely with the General Manager of the Americas Region. A successful candidate is a person who understands the business drivers that are important to both consumer and business sales and can articulate this in a way that forms a strategic vision and tactical plan against which the sell-through organization can be mobilized in support.
Job responsibilities:
• Define VR B2B strategy and business models
• Management of direct customer engagements with business customers
• Creation of engagement programs with US region business channels including the formation of programs, mobilization of resources and execution
• Escalation point of field issues specific to sales engagements with business customers
• Work with internal product, engineering and support teams toward supporting sales efforts with business channels in the field.
• Drive day-to-day metrics of activity toward lead generation and funnel development/growth in the region
• Strategic owner in forming team and individual goals toward driving revenue targets
• Will be part of a growing team that will require being responsible for following through on both individual business and team goals
• Act as a representative at public-facing events, shows, and functions toward driving business and awareness
• Up to 50% travel to partner and customer sites as well as industry events
The successful candidate will have:
• 10+ years experience in a high performing sales teams especially in the field of consulting and/or services
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or another related field; MBA is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute sales goals while motivating others to execute
• Collaborative management style and ability to gather resources together quickly and effectively to produce win-win results
• Exceptional presentation and written communication skills
• Astute cultural sensitivity and the flexibility and aplomb to work effectively within a globally-run environment
• Consultative and/or solutions selling skills and experience managing teams focused on this area a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to bring together and teams and drive results
