Director of Sales - Kroger Beverages Team

Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This position will be part of the CCTO - National Retail Sales Organization.
Role Summary
The Director for Carbonated Soft Drinks for Kroger plays a critical role in growing the topline business for one of PepsiCo’s largest Customers. In addition to having responsibility for $500 million in net revenue, this person is responsible for managing the Carbonated Soft Drink calendar, pricing, promotions, P&L, and marketing plans for Kroger’s Regional CSD Desk. The CSD Director will be wired to a CSD Buyer(s) who manages a cluster of 7 Kroger Divisions on the West Coast (Ralph’s, Food 4 Less, King Soopers, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, QFC, and Smith’s). The role is responsible for managing Division-specific programming and selling it to Kroger’s General Office.
Responsibilities
•Exceed annual net revenue plan ($500MM), profit and Grow CSD Share
•Build best-in-class Customer relationships through category solutions, simplifying the work, excellent communication, detailed follow up
•Offer new and creative solutions based on shopper insights data and fact-based analysis
•Effectively Manage P&L through Volume, Rate, and Mix management
•Own Customer relationship between Division contacts and General Office
•Manage communication and work flow to PepsiCo Key Account Manager
•Develop persuasive and fact-based selling presentations anchored upon consumer, shopper, category and competitive insights. Ensure plans are aligned with Kroger's strategic and tactical imperatives
•Lead the development, sell-in and execution of Kroger's Annual Operating Plan to deliver accelerated growth, market share growth and brand-specific strategic initiatives
•Lead and align Kroger Executive Senior JACT, including ownership of the communication and sell-in of AOP
•Communicate customer plans to appropriate cross functional support teams in a concise and timely manner to maximize execution and sales potential (Retail, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service Teams)
•Effectively manage all areas of business responsibilities, including but not limited to, weekly forecasting, customer financial services accounting, monthly period reviews, customer service opportunities, Sales, Business Unit and Retail communications
•Develop, sell-in and execute Brand Shopper Marketing programs
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Minimum 7 years sales experience (preferably Mountain and/or California marketplace experience)
•CPG Account Sales Management experience with large complex customer required
•Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time
•Role is based in Cincinnati, OH
•Must be authorized to work in the United States
