Position Details
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Lead development and implementation of end-to-end direct to consumer (DTC) supply chain strategy and process through excellent customer interaction and cross-functional partnerships. Manage DTC costs and service levels across all DTC dealers and channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and execute a growth-focused DTC supply chain strategy. Create a scalable solution that will cover the entire retailer portfolio while leveraging technology to stay efficient and productive
• Manage and optimize the SSB DTC supply chain, in collaboration with retail partners, carriers, factories, 3PL partners, IT, logistics, warehousing and other business partners
• Establishes global performance measurements and reports for use across the corporation to ensure optimal performance and create visibility for senior stakeholders in the organization
• Manage the 3PL relationship, performance, corrective action plans and improvement strategies to improve their operational performance within SLAs
• Replenishment execution & analytics to support home delivery & 3PL networks, including management of Replenishment Analyst to support planning and execution at 3PLs, plants and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver on best-in-class supply chain solutions. Frequent exposure to senior executives at large retailer and 3PL partners.
• Build strong relationships with SSB Plants and 3PL's, and collaborate with retailers to eliminate waste and improve overall operational performance
• Work cross functionally with groups company-wide, including brand & product management, IT, finance, sales, and extensively with the broader operations and supply chain teams
• Pivot as needed to address unanticipated challenges and complexity in the business model
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of drop-ship supply chains (LTL/Small parcel)
• Retailer/Supplier partnership management
• Experience with JIT Manufacturing
• Lean/six-sigma experience
• MBA or relevant Degree plus experience (Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering)

• Effective oral and written communication skills -- adept at leading meetings, influencing others, and communicating directly with people in executive level functions

• Project management capabilities -- employs a rigorous yet practical approach
• Results driven and proven records of success through key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to successfully juggle competing priorities Required:
JOB FACTORS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Up to 40% travel
• Work is primarily sedentary in nature
• Frequent overnight travel and holiday and weekend hours
• Regular exposure to production and warehouse environments
• Frequent travel to retailer facilities, headquarters, and attend trade shows
