Position Overview:The Director of Analytics Capability and Planning will play a critical role in the Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) digital transformation. Reporting to the Vice President of Decision Science and Data Strategy, the successful candidate will be a key leader in the Analytics and Data Center of Excellence as we increase our leverage in data and analytics as a critical growth driver.
Function Specific Activities:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage data, research, and analytics (DRA) use case pipeline:
• Partner with functional areas across CCNA to identify growth opportunities that will benefit from advanced analytics capabilities
• Build use case pipeline and roadmap that leverages the capabilities across multiple opportunities and optimizes ROI on analytics and data investments
• Stewardship of prioritized use case pipeline and delivery roadmap for each use case
Develop and manage DRA capability roadmap:
• Partner with IT, Data Strategy, Platform Strategy, Decision Science, and Insights to ensure the necessary DRA infrastructure is in place
• Develop and manage watchlist of emerging technologies and tools in the DRA space that are most relevant to CCNA
• Internal partnerships to deliver Knowledge Management portals and other resources in DRA
• Leadership on internal communications that drive awareness and promote DRA
• Serve on internal Research and Analytics Council as advisor on optimal application of DRA to answer business questions
Associate Development Curriculum
• Collaborate with cross functional leadership across CCNA to identify development needs in DRA
• Based on identified development needs, develop and steward CCNA wide training roadmap
• In partnership with peers across CCNA, serve as overall lead to develop highly effective and CCNA relevant training curriculum in DRA
• Lead on working with internal and external SMEs on training material development
• Leadership role as CCNA point of contact for internal and external networks and communities in the DRA space
Qualifications:
Work Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in Analytics and/or Research. Demonstrated success in building capability and driving adoption of DRA in a large commercial enterprise. Strong internal stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication will be critical in this role.
Education:
Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing Research, Management Information Systems, Marketing Research.
Preferred Level: MBA/MS/MA in the above fields.
Technical Skills:
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, opportunities and gaps, and integrate across disparate data sources.
• Knowledge of analytic techniques such as Regression, Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis, Segmentation Techniques, and Statistical Testing.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex information and implications both verbally, in interactions with senior leaders, and in written presentations utilizing "storytelling techniques" to communicate a clear, compelling and cohesive story.
• Presentation Skills: Proven presentation skills to convey insights and training material.
• Research Knowledge: Knowledge of industry and customer research resources (e.g., Nielsen, Spectra, CREST, etc.), KO proprietary resources and a basic knowledge of methods for gathering information (i.e., survey techniques).
• Business Intelligence: Ability to use BI tools and platforms, e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy, Alteryx, and similar
• Experience in management of large databases and use of statistical software.
