Function Specific Activities:
The CCNA Performance Intelligence Director will serve to evaluate and steward CCNA performance against our Business Plan (BP) and key strategic priorities. Using a combination of skills in Performance Management, Planning and Project Management, the Director of Performance Intelligence will manage and develop the appropriate stewardship structure, tools and routines to measure progress on key metrics including revenue, profit, incidents, transactions and value share.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate and steward key performance management routines across CCNA constituencies deemed critical (e.g., at the Business Unit level and below) via appropriate connections with Finance and BU resources with stakeholders in finance, BUs including brand, commercial and sales, and enabling functions
• Manage development and updates to Performance Intelligence Application (PIA) in partnership with appropriate Finance and BU resources
• Provide visibility to key performance indicators across functions by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (e.g., Insights and Decision Science, Finance, Commercial/RGM, Brands/Categories, Franchise, NRS, NFS&OP, Minute Maid)
• Support various Strategic Initiatives at the Group or BU level with data requests and analysis, providing a “first source of the truth” for key financial and performance indicators
• Connect with other stakeholders within the broader Strategy, Decision Science and Insights team to support capability development and data integrity / consistency across the team
• Support routine and ad hoc requests for CCNA performance results across multiple platforms (e.g., Business Unit, Route to Market, Brand, Consumer, Customer, Bottler), stakeholders (e.g., CCNA ELT, BU, Corporate), and needs (e.g., financial performance, key indicators, ERM)
• Participate in and provide performance management input to key planning activities related to development of CCNA and BU long-range plans (LRP) and annual business plans (ABP)
• Work in partnership with Data Strategy, Business Intelligence and IT to ensure appropriate structure and tools for performance management
Education Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field. Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MS), other advanced degree, or equivalent work experience preferred
Related Work Experience:
• 7+ years of experience with preferred exposure to Insights, Finance, or RGM functions, and/or a role in other Company functions requiring deep knowledge of many data sources
• Experience in performance management and stewardship in some capacity (e.g., Bottler, Customer, Brand)
• Knowledge and experience in Coca-Cola North America and/or bottling system is advantageous
Functional Skills:
Data Analytics and Analysis
• Ability to comprehensively analyze performance, identifying areas of over-performance / under-performance and key drivers to leverage or improve
• Deep analytical experience and the ability to structure analysis and reporting in a way that contains extensive detail but simple key messages
Financial analysis:
Analysis of key drivers behind financial performance and ability to assess implications to plan performance (partnership with Finance)
Leadership:Ability to exert personal influence, build value-based relationships at all organizational levels, and collaborate with Functional teams and other key internal/external stakeholders
Project and Stakeholder Management:Effective/structured communication, project management, and facilitation skills
CCNA System Knowledge:Bottling and financial acumen (knowledge of P&L, key ratios, and balance sheet with focus on drivers of economic profit/free cash flow)
