Purpose of Role
This role has very high overall business impact, and is a key driver for the end-to-end Mondelez international capabilities and performance, including achieving the targeted savings and optimization of internal and external services. It has to align and integrate with all regional/global and functional strategies, and is key element of the overall transformation program.Since master data is essential in process and performance excellence across the enterprise, It requires very strong business acumen, cross-functional, international internal and external business experience to define the vision and strategy for Master data @ Mondelez international and to ensure the right programs and plans are in place to deliver the expected performance.
Main Responsibilities
1. Define and manage the Master data @ MDLZ vision, strategy and performance targets. (30%)
a. Aligned with overall business objectives, define MD Scope, Golden rules, Process taxonomy, Talent strategy, Business ownership, business case, Roadmap and most cost effective operating/organization model.
b. Define Domain strategy, including domain scope, performance targets, roadmap, business priorities and MD service targets.
c. Define together with the Global Governance Lead our DMS sustainability strategy including Process, quality, Performance, Testing/Training, Projects and Industry standards frameworks.
d. Explore new opportunities to enhance the service offer and incremental savings/efficiencies
e. Drive performance through KPI’s: Speed (on-time and fast-track), Quality (High-impact incidents and audit control, Service ( reach cost targets, professional standards), Simplification (15% reduction/year)
2. Define and manage the programs and plans to deliver the expected performance. (30%)
a. Manage the project portfolio with impacts on DMS. Ensure budgets and capabilities
b. Manage the transition and transformation portfolio for DMS.
c. Apply DIAL and/or TG Methodology and ensure business case realization.
3. Internal Stakeholder relations. (20%)
a. Alignment of DMS strategy with the regions/global and functions strategies.
b. Agree the performance targets and cost versus service trade offs with business leadership.
4. External relations. (20%)
a. Strategy alignment with Service providers ( DMS and ITS).
b. Define external/industry MDLZ policy and ensure MDLZ interests are incorporated in industry priorities. Influence and network with peer companies and key customers to apply industry standard practices.
5. Budgeting (10%)
a. Responsible for AC Planning of the entire DMS organization working closely with MBS Finance team
b. Travel budget tracking for the DMS organization (planned vs. actual)
c. Oversee Project Budgets & resource allocation/funding
KPIs / Dimensions
• Set strategic direction in terms of DMS services and performance
• Approve and manage portfolio projects (1-5mio$)
• Define transformation targets and manage DMS business case.
• Define external/industry benchmark strategy for MDLZ DMS
• Define DMS priorities and roadmap
Targets / Dimensions
• Budget Managed ($): Projects : 3-5 mio$, strategy for overheads and services: 5-10mio$
• Net Operating Revenue Supported ($ current year): All Mondelēz International global revenues
Qualifications
Career Experiences Required & Role Implications
1. Bachelor Degree Required, Master Degree preferred. English Proficienc
2. Min. 10 years of business experience in at least 2 functional area’s of finance/ISC/ITS
3. Min. 5 years in Data Management/ Master Data
