SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Vice President, National Accounts and is primarily responsible for leading, inspiring, planning and directing strategic partnerships with key national account customers. This position requires a passionate, aggressive and motivated individual that is capable of being “the face” of our brand to national customers and our distributor partners. Success will require a strategic thinker who is able to add customer value through analysis and category management principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Serve as a proud ambassador for our brand
• Embody the culture and values of our company
• Serve as the primary point of contact with assigned customers
• Manage customer relations with senior management, buyer and field managers
• Attend all customer functions
• Collaborate & align with distributor senior management and account managers
• Adhere to company strategic direction, guidance and financial guardrails
• Manage all communication processes and routines related to assigned customers
• Provide accurate and timely forecasting
• Contribute in the annual strategic planning process
• Manage promotional and marketing planning
• P&L management
• Trade spend investment planning and management
• Management of all customer invoicing, bill backs and settlements
• Quarterly customer reviews
• Marketplace insights & analysis
• Promotional post analysis
• Training & development
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises 0 to 2 employees in the Sales Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within the consumer products industry, preferable beverage
• Previous national account management experience is preferred
• Category management experience
• A proven track record of performance
• Previous experience managing DSD environments is preferred
• Proficient analytical & planning skills
• Must live near a major airport and be willing to travel 50% to 75% of the time
• Must have a car and be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Strong team skills
• Ability to work in extremely fast-paced and evolving hyper-growth environment
• Experience working successfully within the constraints of a growing business
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
