Primary Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing the pricing structure and strategy required in collaboration with your suppliers to achieve the sales budgets and goals.
2. Coordinate the annual sales focus calendar and develop incentive and pay for performance compensation to drive sales achievement in accordance with company policies.
3. Coordinating sales performance, brand building programs and supplier relationships across all channels of the trade
4. Assist with product forecasting by providing input on sales trend variances to allow for inventory modification.
5. Accountable for attainment of annual volume, gross profit and safety goals for assigned branch.
6. Accountable for performance of all sales, distribution, ad and display goals in assigned chains.
7. Ensure supplier satisfaction by achieving mutually agreed upon annual business plan volume and distribution objectives
8. Survey the marketplace with your assigned Sales Team, Management and Suppliers as outlined within the Market Vision Performance guideline (MVP) as required by Senior Management; identify and communicate opportunities seen within the market to Senior Management and proactively suggest recommendations to remedy.
9. Perform Market Vision Performance (MVP) surveys as frequently as required by Senior Management.
10. Manage all departmental expense and sales line to budget or below.
11. Partner with Senior Management to ensure effective and efficient day to day operations; perform regular evaluations of sales department call frequency and service levels, out of sequence patterns and customer returns to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs.
12. Schedule, organize and lead all regional sales meetings as required.
13. Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
14. Enforce all liquor laws according to state law and regulations regarding product sales.
15. Represent the company at various business and community functions in a positive light.
16. Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Training:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree
• High School diploma or GED required
Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years previous beverage industry sales experience
• Minimum of three (3) years previous sales management experience
Knowledge/Skill:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with an AS400 system
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of budgetary processes and influence on business objectives
• Ability to build presentations and develop business reviews utilizing standard computer software programs
• Demonstrate flexibility in overcoming problems and personalities
• Demonstrate leadership and team building skills
• Ability to focus and work cross functionally across many levels of organization
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Physical Requirements:
1. Lift/Carry and Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
2. Bend/Stoop/Crouch/Squat
3. Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
4. Use of industry tools: hand truck, six wheeler, manual pallet jack, box cutter
5. Ability to travel throughout the day for visits to customer accounts
6. Work indoors with frequently walking in customer accounts
