Position Summary and Essential Duties:
To perform diverse support duties for corporate officer. This position involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, judgment and confidentiality.
Job Specific Information:
This position will be responsible for executive level support of SVP’s office, managing international and domestic travel, composing correspondences for SVP’s review/signature, and coordinating large scale local/remote/international meetings and projects.
Ideal candidate will possess an understanding of Information Technology standard processes, an aptitude to learn quickly, be resourceful and creative, and be willing to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate quick thinking, independent decision making, initiative, and relentless follow up.
International and domestic travel may be required.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:
• Experience managing complex Executive and group calendars
• Previous history in coordinating domestic and International travel arrangements
• Proficient in coordinating large scale meetings, locally, remotely and/or internationally
• Advanced proficient in using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience in creating presentations using modern editing tools and multimedia libraries
• Ability to prioritize email and telephone calls for review and/or action
• Have a learning mindset that is also resourceful and creative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for successful interface with all levels of management
Domicile Location:
• Memphis, TN (Crescent Center)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance may be available for this position, but is based on business decision.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED. Ten (10) years related business experience and eight (8) years as executive assistant. Typing proficiency. PC experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software. One (1) year college courses. Good spelling, punctuation and English grammar skills. Good administrative skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to compose correspondence for manager's signature ability to prioritize mail and telephone calls for review and/or action. Excellent oral and written communication skills for successful interface with all levels of management.
