Network Operations
The Network Operations department helps us run a safe, reliable airline, and includes careers in aircraft routing and dispatching, crew scheduling, air traffic control and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
Leads cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives to address performance and financial gaps for the Network Operations Center. Identify technology, facility, and process changes to drive efficiencies. Creates and owns strategic road map for the NOC. Justify and prioritize IT investment to improve visibility for the frontline of metrics, goals, and performance. Works closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment and support of NOC projects.
• Manage NOC portfolio of strategic initiatives
• Provides business technical requirements for NOC technology projects to IT that will support operating frontline divisions
• Directs cross-divisional projects from envision through activation
• Drive scope, resource requirements, and timelines for complex projects with multiple work streams to ensure expectations are clearly communicated and clearly met
• Responsible for developing business cases, identifying key metrics and creating multi-million dollar AFEs for funding
• Provides recommendations to leadership to ensure projects align to the NOC strategic roadmap
Qualifications
Required
• BS Aviation Management or equivalent work experience
• Competent in multiple operational areas including Airport Operations, Network Operations and Flight Operations
• Strong strategic planning skills
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proven leadership skills
• Ability to work with cross-divisional stakeholders
• Excellent data and analytic skills
• Models all Core4 principles
• Strong Operations experience
• Experienced leading cross-divisional technology projects impacting the frontline
• Experience working with IT, CRE, Operations, and Finance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employers without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
Preferred
• MBA or equivalent work experience in Operations
• LSS Certification
• International and Domestic FAR 121 Airline Operations
• 7 years of related experience
