1.PURPOSE OF ROLE
• Support the development and execution of a strategic sustainability agenda, integrating sustainability across Functions throughout the Zone.
• Oversee Zone’s sustainability efforts by fostering cooperation among internal stakeholders and community partners.
• Serve as the central point of contact for any and all interfaces with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Supply, Corporate Affairs, Marketing and People teams) as well as external stakeholders (NGOs, academia, etc.) on the subject of Sustainability. As necessary, collaborate with internal subject matter experts and goal owners to ensure execution of public commitments and key priorities as well as timely reporting and communication of our efforts.
• Lead Continuous Improvement activities for NAZ Procurement including compliance related efforts. Oversee Manager Position for Compliance and Excellence Program.
2.ACCOUNTABILITIES
The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a coordinated sustainability plan, and track and monitor ongoing sustainability projects in order to build business cases to address emerging issues.
◦ Formulate action plans with defined objectives, targets and responsibilities to support agreed upon sustainability strategies.
◦ Set T+M routine to measure and monitor progress against sustainability strategies, objectives and performance targets.
• Support the Sustainability VP in the formation of an internal Sustainability Steering Committee that will help oversee the launch of the Sustainability goals and shape the strategic direction of the Sustainability agenda.
◦ Help define the scope of the Committee, short term and long term, assign accountabilities, and manage schedules and meeting agendas.
• Serve as the internal leader and “go to” expert for sustainability, monitoring emerging trends, programs and issues, and communicating and educating others on sustainability topics
◦ Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance and identify and prioritize the organization’s key sustainability issues.
◦ Support target setting & cascading across functions to ensure sustainability goals that support business objectives are integrated across Supply, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Sales and People Functions
• Manage Sustainability reporting and communication efforts
◦ Build content for Communication Team to promote Sustainability programs internally, and build content and improve storytelling of our sustainability initiatives and engaging external stakeholders (media, NGOs, gov agencies, industry associations, etc.)
◦ Support Corporate Affairs with all government agencies and departments relating to the company's responses to questions, information requests or statements of position on Sustainability-related matters. This includes subjects relating to the broader topic of Sustainability, such as Responsible Sourcing, etc.
3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
Following the appointment of the Chief Sustainability & Procurement Officer, we are streamlining our global Sustainability governance model to enable better collaboration across functions and between global and Zone teams. As part of the Procurement team, the Sustainability Sr. Director will oversee/coordinate execution of the Sustainability ambitions and, with Corporate Affairs support, lead:
• Strategy development;
• Target setting & cascading
• Stakeholder engagement (internal with Leadership, business functions and brands, external with key NGOs and industry associations); and,
• Routine T+M
• Thought Leadership (conference participation/speaking, articles, media interviews, white papers, etc.)
The Sustainability Sr. Director role will allow us to dedicate time and resources needed to carry out these new responsibilities and coordinate closely with Comms, Corporate Affairs, Government Affairs, Marketing, Supply and Core Procurement teams.
4. SCOPE OF ROLE
The Sustainability Sr. Director owns the Sustainability strategy and execution for the Zone/Region and collaborates internally across functions and with the Global Sustainability team to ensure full alignment and execution of the programs. Externally the Sustainability Sr. Director works with Customers, Industry Associations, NGOs and local authorities to better position the company and local brands as champions of Sustainability.

6. QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Education & Language Skills
• University Degree or higher (MBA preferred)
• Fluent in local language and in English
• Critical skills needed for success in this position:

C. Strong people skills to establish lasting relationships
D. Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders with a change agent mindset.
E. Ability to inspire leadership and ssecure and leverage senior-level support for integrating sustainability into core processes and decision-making
F. Sustainability and/or Supply background and knowledge of brewing operations and supply chain preferred
G. PC skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel & Office)
H. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
I. Consistently exhibits company values in all interactions with associates and customers
