The Global Innovation Program Director is accountable for the overall program management for Global Platform Innovation Initiatives through the I2M Process. Responsible from developing the right supply chain solution for the innovation. Provides integration between supply chain, marketing, finance, R&D, Engineering and Procurement in the development/execution of growth initiatives. Provides technical/cost feasibility on all GPI pre-concept projects. Accountable to improve Innovation deliverables through team and process development by measuring against set KPI's.
Main Responsibilities
• Leads Category Innovation Platform from Innovation Charter to test market and to Regional Launch Request following the I2M process and incorporating key elements of the IIM Pillar
• Provides Cost and Feasibility assessment GPI initiatives
• Coordinates/aligns with Global Engineering, RD&Q, Procurement and Regions on proposed sourcing plan and execution
• Provides cross regional sourcing recommendations and develop a solid business case to deliver core/growth innovations and challenges complexity accordingly
• Provides input/recommendations to optimize supply network when evaluating sourcing options to focus on the best global-solution from efficiency/cost/strategic fit
• Carries accountability to continuously improve KPI's against set compelling business need for Innovation
• Own performance and development of I2M PLs
• Representing ISC function and own I2M Process in respective GPI teams
Qualifications
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
• 12 years experience in CPG manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Knowledge on snacks manufacturing technologies and packaging technologies
• Understanding snack consumer/business preferred
• Experience with Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship
• Risk Management experience
