Sightbox is looking for a Director of Product Management with proven experiences in thought leadership, product management, and detailed execution to define, lead, and develop a suite of features to provide an unrivaled digital customer experience.
As the Director of Product Management you will have ownership and responsibility through the full product cycle from product strategy, prioritization, development, and measurement to adoption and iteration with partner teams across Sightbox. This role will require understanding of customer needs and the ability to design and build solutions. You will work with key partners including our Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Engineering, Industry Relations and others to appropriately design, resource, and build solutions on time and on budget to meet the needs of Sightbox customers.
Responsibilities
• Accomplish high-level business goals by breaking initiatives down into achievable plans for the team.
• Define product vision and strategy in a fast-paced environment. Innovate and build for the majority of our users.
• Partner cross functionally with teams to bring cohesion to all product-based acquisition efforts, from strategy through design and execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and pursue the highest impact opportunities.
• Weigh and justify product development between short-term needs and long-term strategic direction.
• Prioritize new strategies, product initiatives, and growth programs. Set and own aggressive growth targets and results.
• Learn about and advocate for the user, gathering and sharing insights regularly.
• Prioritize and communicate product development roadmap.
• Work closely with design and development partners to test, launch, and iterate features, tracking impact throughout the process.
• Collaborate with partners constantly, ensuring the best possible outcome for current and upcoming work.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 8+ years professional experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or growth and performance marketing capacity at a startup or e-Commerce or comparable fast-paced company is required.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering large, cross-functional, customer facing products.
• Track record of creative problem solving; thinks big, starts small, grows fast.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• A strong eye for designing elegant customer experiences and improving product usability.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous products, with strong success stories.
• Excellent leadership skills, ability to keep teams motivated and positive when up against tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated understanding of the analytic techniques that are required to be successful in this role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience in start-up environments is a plus.
