This position is a critical part of the Hematology U.S. Marketing team. The individual in this position will be responsible for leading an integrated and cross-functional KOL engagement strategy within multiple myeloma. In addition, the incumbent will lead market development efforts to ensure long-term growth of Hematology product in the U.S.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for developing and executing an effective and compliant Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement strategy within the U.S. multiple myeloma arena. This responsibility will require leadership and seamless integration of multiple company functions spanning Hematology product commercial, medical affairs, and R&D teams.
• Shape how we engage with KOLs through company-sponsored speaker programs as well as insight-generating activities such as advisory boards.
• Responsible for integrating our KOL engagement strategy into key medical conferences such as ASH, ASCO and others.
• Responsible for strategic planning and lifecycle management within the U.S. market.
• Shaping the long-term strategy and growth of Hematology product by partnering with key functions – primarily Global Strategic Marketing - to provide U.S. input for all future investments in the brand.
• Partner with other areas of the U.S. Marketing Team - HCP marketing, Patient Marketing, or Payer Marketing – to develop and execute strategies to drive brand growth.

Qualifications
• B.A./B.S. required; MBA or other related advanced degree a plus.
• 7 years progressive business experience.
• Pharma or biotech industry experience is required.
• 2 years in-line or global marketing experience is required.
• Prior pharmaceutical launch experience is required.
• Experience directing and managing external agencies is required.
• Demonstrated track record of successful business results is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead others and work in a team environment is required.
• Experience in the Oncology/hematology market is preferred.
• People management experience is preferred.
• 5 years marketing or sales experience is preferred.
• Experience developing medical education strategy and KOL strategy is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the following critical business competencies: Analysis, Customer/Market Knowledge, Marketing Execution, Business Planning and Financial Acumen are preferred.
• Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen and interdependent partnering.
• Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities in complex environment. Must demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 25% travel.
