In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide strategic and tactical leadership, counsel, and direction for all facets of the Customer Order Fulfillment Center. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing, directing and prioritizing departmental activities of an operations team. Facilitate and implement objectives and goals that support Customer Service and Operations strategic company objectives; as well as, drive a lean culture throughout the organization.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
• Providing direction and guidance for the Sales Order Processing teams to achieve business order objectives for all Sales Order Intake related business activities for various product lines across Philips in accordance with policy.
• Directing management to lead the sales order processing function to deliver on the achievement of major business objectives for Royal Philips.
• Guide and fully support the account management process through a key focus on KPIs and continual process improvement.
• Leading the execution of internal controls (SOX) with support for internal and external audits.
• Building and developing staff through local training, Philips University, and management development reviews.
• Owning and participating in projects to deliver business results, as requested by management.
• Learning internal business controls, policies and Quality/Regulatory requirements; as well as, providing gap analysis for aligning proper procedures with the applicable job functions.
• Leverage your expertise to direct the efforts between customers and manufacturing, sales, field service, order processing and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.
• Direct and guide the management teams to warrant all customer returns, exchanges, service, and repairs are accomplished with speed and accuracy – providing a consistent and courteous resolution to all client/customer service delivery issues.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree, required - preferably in a related field such as Business/Operations/Logistics or Supply chain
• LEAN Certification preferred – not required.
• 10+ years’ proven strategic leadership, management, and influencing skills.
• Working knowledge of the Medical Device Industry and its FDA requirements.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) with the ability build buy-in across all levels of the organization.
• Leading management teams in the development of their organization individual performance, development and relationship building.
• Directing teams to leverage LEAN methodologies to drive process improvements through initiating change and the implementation of innovative solutions to reduce handoffs.
• Analyzing business and financial objectives; in addition to, internal business controls and audit.
• Providing guidance and sound judgment in setting and managing expectations for the customer experience and the desire to exceed performance.
• Taking the lead in project development and implementation as requested by management.
• Working in a complex process environment that is not fully mature; with a proven track record in identifying, prioritizing and implementing improvements
