Overview:
The Market Unit Director position will have direct responsibility for 5-9 Local Operation Centers (LOC). In addition, must lead, develop and direct all aspects of the management staff of Equipment Services at the LOCs. Also responsible for developing a highly skilled team that will perform at the highest quality of leadership and customer service, while creating a competitive, safe advantage in the market place. Finally, expected to work with CCBCC and CCNA to manage costs.
Territory of responsibility includes: Alexandria/Washington/Baltimore/Salisbury/Hagerstown
Responsibilities:
• Support department mission/ strategic platforms and localizes within assigned LOCs in the Market Unit
• Accountable for delivering budgeted metrics for:
◦ Safety
◦ Profit & Loss revenue / operational expenses
◦ CCBCC and CCNA scorecards
◦ Right Execution Daily (RED)
• Develop annual manpower budget for LOC technicians and delivery personnel
• Conduct annual Territory Manager performance reviews, Employee Communication Meetings (EMCs) and works with Talent Acquisition Manager to source qualified candidates as needed.
• Serve as project manager for large initiatives in support of Sales and Food Service On-Premise (FSOP).
• Liaison for field in support of the Re-manufacturing Centers Scheduling, Dispatch and Parts Department - provides feedback on process improvement and opportunities to better support the sales organization.
• Develop business review presentations and conduct discussion for all Market Unit Consolidated Management Connections (CMCs).
• Collaborate with local Territory Manager to coordinate local market tours to visit with customers and employees in support of the RED process.
• Work with local Territory Managers to ensure their working knowledge and proficiency with the daily business process for success.
• Support the development of local Equipment Re-utilization Solutions to identify local opportunities to service local dealer owned cold drink equipment.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven leadership skills and abilities.
• 2-3 years of management experience.
• Sales experience.
• Communication training (presentations, written, oral).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications i.e. Excel, Word.
• Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Refrigeration and electrical certification.
• Four year degree in Business or related discipline.
• Prior beverage industry experience.
• Prior technical service experience.
