Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of SAP system-enabled business processes throughout the global Harman Professional Division. Examples of areas in focus include but are not limited to plan-to-produce, procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes. The scope of this position includes Project Management of site consolidation projects, SAP implementations, new SAP functionality and process compliance and controls.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage business improvement projects including site consolidations, SAP implementations and new SAP functionality projects including but not limited to MRP, MES, SCM, WMS, TMS, EDI and SM.
• Perform detailed analyses for various business processes which are heavily dependent on, or enabled by SAP.
• Design, recommend and implement new processes or changes to existing processes that improve overall business process and SAP interaction efficiency.
• Research internal and external best practices for continuous improvement which can be implemented consistently throughout the Professional organization.
• Manage and maintain the business process library and documentation to ensure accuracy and ease of use and deployment.
• Interface with the functions of IT, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Executive Management.
• Implementation and management of control policies to provide uniform operations in support of business control tools, including SiAM and Sentinel, which monitor and ensure compliance of SoD requirements according to audit standards.
• Provide leadership to the Business Transformation Team (BTT) to ensure management of the business process/ERP interface, which includes regular interaction with each BU, to monitor the effectiveness of the ERP and compliance with end users.
• Project management, to include but not limited to creating/managing budgets, directing of various functions including IT, consultants, and business unit teams, ensuring delivery of defined projects on time, within budget, and at accepted quality levels.
Basic Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Sourcing or other related field required.
• PMP or similar project management certification and experience.
• 10 years’ related experience in a manufacturing or supply chain management environment
• Technology/Applications: Experience working with business systems including SAP and SAP and Microsoft Office. Should be familiar with technology as applicable.
• Experience with analytical work justifying changes to strategy, cost control, and service enhancement.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time including international travel.
• Willingness to work in an office in Northridge, CA but be mobile enough to transfer to other Harman locations.
