Director, Business Development - Business and Commercial Model Innovation
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive Order Intake in top global markets through the application and development of new business models that help our customers utilize our offerings in their missions of delivering care. You will work closely with both key market sales and marketing leadership (along with the Business Group resources). Teaming up to support, and individually driving opportunities for orders with customers you will utilize alternatives to standard industry capital acquisition models to create orders and deepen customer relationships. You will create customer engagements that partner to develop, apply, and define new business models and ways of working that drive orders will create success - helping Philips move along its journey to becoming a solutions partner for our customers.
You are responsible for
• Driving Order Intake in partnership with top Markets utilizing alternatives to the standard capital model with a focus on current and next two fiscal years
• Identifying and defining top market opportunities by customer, channel, market segment, and situation as part of analysis and planning that will define your actions
• Creating internal proposals and business cases to gain approval for resources and activities that drive identified opportunities
• Providing input and expertise to the MA/TC organization on customer opportunities, needs, and issues
• Supporting top markets and the business group in strategic plans and business/market plans during key periods in the business planning cycle during the year
You are a part of:
The MA/TC market to order (M2O) organization. Working with the key Markets, Business Units, Service, and supporting functions (Chief Technology Officer and Chief Medical Officer Offices) to create opportunities. This collaborative and matrixed culture focuses on creating and delivering customer value through services, solutions and products regardless of business or commercial model.
Your Key Relationships are:
• Head of Solution Marketing MA/TC
• M2O Leader MA/TC
• Top Market Business Market Managers (e.g. United States, Germany, UK, Australia)
• Business Unit and Services Leaders MA/TC
• Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, and Field Marketing Functions supporting top markets
• Program Leaders and Teams focusing on Business Model Innovation
• CTO and CMO Office Leadership
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Minimum of 10 years+ experience with a healthcare vendor or provider in business development, sales, or customer management with a focus on solution selling and customer problem solving
• Demonstrated experience and success creating and managing hospital and health system C level relationships, and driving decisions through those relationships in top markets
• Demonstrated experience and success creating creative solutions and business opportunities with customers that include systems, software, services, and equipment
• Demonstrated experience and successes creating and executing business cases and plans that drive orders and profit with alternative business models and channels
• Deep knowledge of hospital and health system decision journeys, purchasing methodologies and criteria
• Deep knowledge of clinical and operational needs and issues of key stakeholders in healthcare providers and payers
• Knowledge of Patient Monitoring Equipment and Services market dynamics
• Experience in change management, succeeding in an organization through a major change
• BA/BS
• Advanced Degree Preferred
