Senior Director, Green Dot B2B Product Marketing
Summary
The Senior Director of Green Dot B2B Product Marketing is responsible for building a comprehensive, fully integrated business marketing plan for the Green Dot family of business products and capabilities. This Senior Director will work closely with multiple leaders and teams to build research and insight projects, validate and support product roadmaps, assist on channel and packaging needs, develop sales training and enablement, design inbound and outbound demand generation programs, develop influencer and press programs, and work with all execution teams to ensure consistency and excellence in marketing execution. This role takes full responsibility for creating marketing programs that work to raise awareness of Green Dot’s BaaS/bOS platform, build credibility and demand for these products, and ensure that sales and partners are trained and informed.
Responsibilities
• Develop integrated marketing plans—in coordination with research, brand, and campaign teams—that support business growth goals in most efficient, effective manner
• Coordinate and lead research projects to gain insights into business trends, relevant cultural impacts, competitive threats, and marketplace innovations
• Lead pricing and packaging
• With business development, explore new areas of partnership and product evolution
• Develop core product descriptions, marketing materials, product differentiation
• With the Brand team, develop and evolve the product brand promise and brand hierarchy within the Green Dot family of products
• With Product Management and Research, define core constituents and build comprehensive audience profiles
• With Campaigns, define core set of demand generation and revenue goals, take an active part in assisting in campaign-planning, and ensure optimal campaign performance
• Develop sales and channel enablement materials and plans
• With Marketing Operations, develop database of accounts and contacts to market to, ensuring the relevance and accuracy of all data
• Report on performance of marketing programs to Green Dot leadership
Requirements
• 15+ years experience in B2B product marketing, preferably with background in financial technology
• Bachelor degree
• Experience leading a cross discipline team that delivered integrated marketing plans
• Experience developing clear, compelling messaging that can be taught to others
• Expert at applying buyer behavior to orchestrate and manage the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, end-to-end buyer journey, content narrative and syndication design
• Expert communicator with sales and product teams
• Ability to use metrics and results to build persuasive arguments
• Disciplined
• Capable of solving complex, business-analysis problems
• Can make decisions based on business goals and operational constraints and demonstrates high degree of personal ownership for overall success
