The Opportunity
Responsibilities
• Lead the overall enterprise architecture strategy that is scalable and adaptable that would support the fast paced growth of R+F
• Implement best practices as it related to architecture methods, deliverables/artifacts, and tools
• Partner with Business & Tech leaders to rationalize and align business, product, and architecture roadmaps
• Ensure long-term roadmap integrity by assisting and facilitating the implementation of a set of architecture governance routines, policies, and standards across business and IT
• Develop and monitor efficient architecture, management, and engineering processes that enable the business to sustain its growth momentum
• Lead and expand the Architecture Team; identify new talent; manage & mentor all members of the team; develop sourcing strategies and processes
• Work with Solution Architects to ensure solutions meet the overall enterprise architecture
• Be an active participant in building and maintaining a culture of innovation, inclusion and world class delivery
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise and digital architecture
• 10+ years proven leadership experience, coaching developing and engaging technology teams
• 7+ years of experience in managing and architecting enterprise level programs, which require extensive collaboration across various groups in a matrix organization
• MA/MS and BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred
Communication Skills:
• Demonstrable presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership Traits:
• Self-driven, passionate leader and evangelist with expertise and experience of building enterprise and digital architectures
• Expert leader in execution of enterprise architecture and it's implementation across the broader organization
• Thinker and planner – able to see potential issues and requirements ahead of time, plan and execute them
• Ability to balance short term tactical decisions with long term strategic thinking
• Demonstrable leadership abilities in changing, ambiguous and challenging situations
Technical Skills:
• Prior architectural experience and development experience with eCommerce, ERP, and CRM platforms
• Expertise in architecture & development application and platform components based on SOA architecture
• Experience and passion to work in a face paced Agile environment
• Expert knowledge in Internet Technology and Software Development, including current industry trends and their application
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training diverse personnel focusing on high performance and professional development
• Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services / applications
