HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Creation - You’ll be responsible for determining the best approach to develop exceptional design solutions that balance consumer needs with technical constraints and manufacturing processes. This will include determining how to build a team, utilizing both internal and external resources
• Leverage Your Design Capabilities – You will use your understanding of end user and human factors to: create blue-sky concepts, challenge paradigms and drive for excellence in form, architecture, pack shape, color, material and finish
• Leadership – You will need to rely on strong leadership skills to manage multiple initiatives and complexity. You will need to have the ability to articulate the process, objectives and strategy, and present ideas and concepts to influence others
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or a similar discipline
• Extensive years of related industry experience
• Understanding of relevant CAD systems (e.g. Alias, Rhino, Solid Works, or Freeform) or rendering software (e.g. KeyShot or Move)
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• A portfolio that includes examples of creative excellence, Design process and approach
Bonus Points:
• People management experience of creative teams
• Enabling and fostering brilliant design throughout the end to end process
• Exceptional collaboration/interdependence skills
• Experience with animation tools (Flash, Premiere, Maya, etc.)
• Ability to engage and influence across all partners
• Superior time and project management skills

The individual in this role will be based in Chicago, with frequent visits to the Battle Creek office
