Customer Engagement and Execution Director responsibilities:
•Execute the refinement and implementation of the customer engagement strategy for the Strategic Customer Group (SCG) at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Current key customers include national and major market payers, large integrated delivery networks (IDNs), PBMs, and national retail drug chains.
•Work in partnership with strategic account management to deliver in market account engagement and execution support with a focus on high impact areas.
•Drive partnership across Market Access Marketing to ensure alignment and coordination of in market customer engagements and execution.
•Establish and drive adoption of protocol for planning and executing 1:1 customer engagements, including senior leadership engagements, with select targeted national customers across payer, IDN and PBM channels.
•Collaborate extensively with cross functional partners including, but not limited to, Market Access Marketers, SCG Leadership Team members, Field Account Directors and leadership, Brand team, Commercial Excellence, Account Management and Operations, Quality Solutions, Legal, Regulatory and HCC.
•Work across Market Access and Account Management to establish and align on priority account targets across critical channels
•Lead the management of SCG related resources and tools.
•Work seamlessly with Account Management & Operations for flawless implementation and execution of strategies and tactics impacting field based account teams.
•Lead creation of key performance indicators (KPI) that will measure the impact of strategy in addition to the effectiveness of select resources implemented at targeted accounts. Communicate KPI output to senior management and relevant internal stakeholders.
•Assist with the development of primary and secondary research plan to identify external market trends and competitive customer engagement strategy approaches to inform broader SCG customer strategy. Exploring and identifying emerging influential stakeholders is imperative.
•Partner with Health Care Compliance, Legal and Regulatory to ensure compliant strategic plan development and customer engagement execution.
Qualifications
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required
•Minimum of 8 years’ relevant business experience required (Sales, Marketing, Management, etc)
•Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated success in the healthcare industry required
•Demonstrated knowledge of managed market landscape and emerging trends in the pharmaceutical industry required
•Experience in managed markets is required
•Experience in strategy development, project management & people leadership are preferred.
•Experience in cross-functional roles such as in-line marketing, learning and development, commercial excellence and/or similar experience preferred
•Experience leading and operating in a decentralized and cross-functional business model required
•Demonstrated ability to Influence others without direct authority required
•Experience collaborating and engaging at all levels of the organization required
•Demonstrated experience establishing action oriented relationships with external and internal business partners required
•Ability to challenge the status quo and establish unique solutions to business challenges required
•Experience acquiring internal and external insights and translating them into value added strategies to support business objectives required
•Demonstrated experience leading diverse project teams and driving alignment to action is required
•Ability to prioritize, manage and deliver multiple projects across multiple stakeholders is required
•This position is based in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 20% domestic travel.
