Requirements
Summary
In this role, you will work with our suppliers and sales team leadership to develop, present, and monitor effective objectives that align with our supplier business goals. Additionally, you are responsible for helping to recognize and develop new business opportunities
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement cohesive and collaborative business objectives with the Sales Department to drive execution against company goals
• Be a strong advocate for accountability and results
• Manage Supplier Marketing Budgets, as well as, other Marketing Budgets
• Monitor inventory levels of managed products to minimize code issues and product destruction
• Build relationships with Columbia's supplier partners
• Prioritize and monitor sales execution versus Supplier ABPs
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
• Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events, working the local on-premise teams
• Assist in pricing of products, including discount schedules
• Direct successful launches of new suppliers and new products / brands
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned
Key Competencies
• Solid knowledge of the beverage alcohol three-tier system, including compliance
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
People Management
This position will manage an assigned list of suppliers, as well as participate in the recruitment of new potential partners.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This job also operates with direct contact to sales teams and customers in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, days/hours of work vary, and may include weekends.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
