HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In your role as Director, Team Sales at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
• Promoting a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations
• Initiating and maintaining complex internal/external customer relationships
• Identifying customer needs and expectations, taking actions to ensure that Kellogg and customer goals are aligned and met through actions of team
• Participate as a member of the Snacks business unit sales leadership team
• Establishing relationships with customer Director & VP level management and above
• Managing and overseeing creation and implementation of customer business plans by account team
• Communicating Business Plans to key customers through regular customer calls above the buyer level
• Partnering with Category Management to understand market trends and customer preferences. Ensuring full implementation of all promotional programs to maximize sales and/or build the most effective off-shelf displays in stores
• Providing leadership on account issues to Region and internal customer teams beyond area of immediate responsibility
• Educating and developing rapport with internal customers and promote partnerships by seeking feedback and responding to customer requests
• Leading safety initiatives. Being Kellogg’s voice to customer HQ teams, supporting efforts to keep Kellogg personnel safe in store
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer policies and procedures
• Make recommendations for improved performance based on financial analysis
• Providing accurate volume forecast by ensuring that CRM planning is accurately accomplished by team
• Building teams of diverse individuals who work interdependently to achieve business objectives, promoting collaboration, coordination, and teamwork
• Identifying, evaluating and managing talent within the organization through talent review and succession management processes
• Ensuring completion and support development plans for each team member by providing coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities as appropriate
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and/or significant related experience
• Management of high volume account or group of accounts calling on Retailer Headquarters
• Significant Sales experience
• CPG industry experience in a sales function managing customer teams
• Advanced project/process skillset, including experience in P&L’s, financial analysis, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
• MBA/Masters
• Direct people management experience
