HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In your role as a Director, Business Development at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
• Leading projects, strategy and analytics from conception through execution by influencing and collaborating across cross functional teams
• Serving as a “jack of all trades” with a high level of expertise across all internal functions and customers
• Setting direction across the region to drive standardization of process, communication, and content
• Setting direction to ensure priorities and results are understood and being delivered against
• Work across all levels of the organization to lead projects and influence change and results
• Organizing and leading project management work, identifying all deliverables within the stage gate process. Holding functions accountable to deliver their commitments in a timely manner
• Cultivating strong working relationships with identified internal and customer leads
• Focusing on projects on initiatives that deliver upon financial commitments
• Working collaboratively with Kellogg National Account Managers to support business development and driving insights to action
• Meeting customers as needed to understand their needs, capabilities, and opportunities. Integrating next steps within functional work and output
• Providing thought leadership and support to drive executional efficiencies
• Being a change agent, look for ways to improve processes and capitalize on opportunities
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Required:
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and informal influencing skills
• Experience delivering group presentation
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong reporting skills to pull data and analyze across SAP, Nielsen, IRI, etc.
• Ability to deliver against short term urgent needs while balancing long term deliverables
• Strong financial acumen; experience working with and understanding a P & L
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
• Cross functional experience with Sales, Finance, Category Management and/or Customer Marketing
• Extensive years of experience within the food industry

Travel for this role is approximately 30%
