Director Strategy Cardiology Healthspace
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be the Director Cardiology HealthSpace strategy you are part of a global M&A, strategy and business development team that directly supports and influences key decisions at the highest level of Philips.
You are responsible for:
• Leading and setting the Philips Cardiology HealthSpace strategy globally across our country sales and service organizations and business groups.
◦ Working closely with M&A, strategy and business development colleagues.
• Developing long-term impactful business opportunities to win against competition in the Cardiology HealthSpace.
• Maintaining up-to-date overview of market needs and dynamics, competition, technical, application and societal development for the Cardiology HealthSpace to ensure active portfolio management within Philips business groups to maximize value.
◦ Working closely with market analysis and forecasting team, marketing intelligence, research, the business groups and the country sales and service organizations.
• Coordinating related new business development and drive the inorganic growth agenda, translating strategy into the needs for M&A, JVs Alliances.
• Driving a structured approach to portfolio management across the different R&D programs within the Cardiology HealthSpace.
• Ensuring execution of Cardiology HealthSpace strategy - always able to provide latest view on execution status and raises key areas of attention to senior leadership.
• Coordinating best practice and knowledge sharing related to the Cardiology HealthSpace across Philips.
You are a part of
As a Director Cardiology HealthSpace strategy you are part of a global M&A, strategy and business development team that directly supports and influences key decisions at the highest level of Philips. You will work in the domain of cardiology with Philips’ businesses, commercial country organizations and functional teams, helping them to develop the business and supplying them with deep insights, actionable strategic direction and thought leadership.
You will report the Philips Cardiology HealthSpace business leader and Head of Strategy for Connected Care and Health Informatics. You will set the agenda to drive our Cardiology efforts, together with other Executives.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• A minimum of 10 years combined business development and strategy consulting experience for a top-tier international company or in a corporate strategy department;
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cardiology (MedTech, provider or research/academia), preferably experience that reflects global perspective and HealthTech mix;
• Ability to set agenda for a business and experience to execute on a strategy while operating in a matrix organization;
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proven customer and solutions mindset and experience;
• International business experience;
• A Master’s in Business, Science or Engineering with excellent academic track record;
• Excellent analytics and quantitative skills;
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
• A willingness to travel (25%);
• People skills as well as a results-driven attitude when managing project teams, including at minimum 1 year of experience in leading project teams.
