Overview:
Our internal Creative Services department is looking for an experienced, full-time Art Director to help execute B2C and B2B marketing materials for the brand and our internal customers. Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates strength in both concept and design.
Purpose of Job:
• Responsible for multiple projects that rely on the ability to create compelling work from strategic direction and within budget and deadline parameters.
• Develop concepts with copywriter and other collaborators, secure necessary approvals, and collaborate as necessary with digital team, studio artists and production manager to produce flawless finished artwork.
Job Components:
• Steward, promote and protect Enterprise brand standards
• Fulfill assignments from creative briefs and meet deadlines, budgets and all other parameters
• Work productively, both independently and in group brainstorming sessions, in a fast-paced environment
• Create for a variety of media, including POP, direct mail, sales materials and other print; e-mail, interactive and digital; video, etc. for B2C and B2B audiences.
• Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
• Present concepts clearly and persuasively
• Contribute to and enjoy a fun, energetic and welcoming culture that promotes career and personal growth
Art direction and design - 80%
Production - 12%
Project/time tracking - 6%
Training - 2%
Qualifications:
Thorough working knowledge of print production; strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Fluency in:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Bachelors degree in Advertising, Graphic Design or equivalent training required
• Minimum of six years relevant work experience in advertising or promotions agency, design firm, or in-house advertising environment
• Excellent collaboration and listening skills
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and self-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Travel sometimes required
Work Environment:
• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Regularly required to talk and hear, stand and walk, and use hands to grasp or handle
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 10+ lbs
• Prolonged use of personal computer and telephone
• Exposed to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
