Overview
The Director of IT, Manufacturing and Production will have leadership responsibilities and fiscal accountability within the overall IT department. He/She will serve as a part of the IT management team and provide guidance and advice within the department. This role will lead all IT Manufacturing related activities and initiatives and it will manage a diverse team of professionals that support facility related services within Lixil Water Technology Americas (includes US, Canada, Mexico, DR, LatAm and China office operations).
Responsibilities
• Partner with Business stake holders and Supply Chain facility leaders and assist them in meeting their goals and objectives
• Implement new IT Transformation Strategy based on CIO and business leadership team’s guidance
• Collaborating and working with other IT groups while providing key inputs and guidance for the overall management of IT
• Standardize systems and platforms within all facilities in the Americas
• Make recommendations in replacing and retiring legacy solutions and move quickly to implement those solutions
• Bring facilities up to speed in regards to new technology
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to implement SD-WAN and eliminate MPLS. Bring bandwidth to reasonable levels to support all locations
• Enforce data security and integrity. Follow and assist in any J-Sox and other compliance related initiatives
• Collaborate closely with the new User Support Services to deploy new machines, windows and backend support
• Assist in implementing an LWTA wide single Helpdesk system that will help transform how Level 1 IT support is done today
• Collaborate with business leaders to improve existing supply chain and other business processes
• Program and project management of key projects as well as mentoring of other project managers
• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements including J-Sox (Sarbanes Oxley)
• Identify and recruit the right talent
• Manage IT Manufacturing and Production cost center and deliver technology and services based on budget (mission)
• Ensure issues are resolved within defined SLAs
• Establish SLAs and KPIs aligned to business objectives
• Accountable for quality of services and solutions delivered
• Manage vendor relationships and renegotiate contracts to reduce cost
• Ability and willingness to handle many big team initiatives simultaneously
• Contribute to all IT Change Management Efforts
• Maintain appropriate operational information assurance posture for programs
• Developing effective, efficient, and rigorous processes and methodologies which include monitoring and reporting
• Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to the IT Manufacturing and Production team
• Assemble the best team possible to deliver results and high productivity
• Recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing of the team
Qualifications
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT Management with increasing responsibilities
• Demonstrated organization and team building skills
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Computer Science; or equivalent,
• 10 Years’ experience in discipline Project Management methodologies
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask across multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to work effectively with internal or international teams and external vendors in a collaborative environment
• Ability to travel up to 35%
