Associate Director, Human Resources – Adult & Feminine Care
Neenah, WI
Position Purpose:
The Associate Director of Human Resources for the Adult and Feminine Care business is responsible for partnering with the leader of the business to drive cultural change and people strategies that support the key business initiatives. Secondarily, this role will contribute to increasing overall functional capability within the company through participation on the KCNA HR team and on functional and global projects.
This position reports directly to the VP HR for the Kimberly-Clark North American Business and is the Lead HR Business Partner to the President, North America Adult and Feminine Care and the Adult and Feminine Care Leadership Team.
Primary Accountabilities:
• Developing and influencing strategic and operational HR initiatives to successfully achieve the Company’s Strategic Business Plan.
• Driving engagement and high performance in order to leverage talent as a competitive advantage.
• Providing HR consultation to leaders including leadership coaching, guidance on best practices, employment practices, feedback, processes and tools.
• Attracting, developing and retaining top talent to support business imperatives.
• Acting as a coach for leaders and indirect HR team, contributing to the development of others and self-development.
• Leading functional HR projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• Align the team to define, exhibit and instill One KC Behaviors and the Culture of Accountability across sectors.
• Develop and drive stakeholder change management plans appropriate to support transformational organizational change across all K-C geographies and businesses.
• Provide organization development and effectiveness strategies and solutions which respond to a dynamic and evolving business organization.
• Ensure that a global mindset is brought to the work and team, which respects the local North American market that our teams operate and win in.
• Define and achieve functional excellence in human resource best practices, focused on support of a dynamic, evolving business organization.
• Excellent understanding of organizations and organizational dynamics with a fast paced, innovative Leadership Team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 10 years of progressive Human Resource leadership experience
• Broad understanding of management styles, legal, and employment issues
• Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to develop and align HR initiatives to accelerate achievement of strategic business objectives
• A track record of success in developing individuals and teams
• Ability to influence senior executives and align functional peers across a globally matrixed organization
• Strong understanding of HR best practices
• A track record of success in managing organizational change
• Interpersonal, integrity and collaboration skills, along with a proven ability to lead others
• Moves seamlessly between execution and strategic thought, development and alignment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources, MBA, or other related advanced degree preferred
• 10-12 years of experience in the Human Resources field
• Prior team leader experience
• SPHR
• Prior experience in the commercial functions of a business (Marketing, Sales, Innovation)
