We currently have a Director, Corporate Communications, Experience and Culture career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.
POSITION PURPOSE:

We are looking for a professional communicator who will champion these core traits through our customer events, industry relationships and employee communications and engagement activities. We have an open position for a Director, Corporate Communications, Experience and Culture, who will be responsible for driving the strategy, integration and execution of meaningful and measurable experiences and cultural moments for our key stakeholders through our meetings, events and employee communications channels. The Director will create an integrated approach to our events that brings together company executives, business units, product marketing and industry relationships to elevate Essilor's mission and culture. The Director, Corporate Communications will be a key leader in the Corporate Communications and Customer Development Group and will report to the Vice President, Corporate Communications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and drive strategy for customer, industry and employee events that creates measureable impact on key stakeholders and meets or exceeds stated and agreed upon expectations
• Create change in approach to industry events, tradeshows and customer facing events in order to increase visibility for the investment with measured and significant outcomes for all partners
• Own the culture of EOA and create meaningful moments for customers, employees and industry to engage and experience who we are and what we stand for
• Serve as Editor and Chief Strategist for WIRED, EOA’s digital application designed to engage employee with all news for EOA and publish employee news and announcements, including forming and maintaining an internal editorial board, reporting on successes and expanding the platform beyond existing reach
• Drive innovation in event delivery, measurement and engagement for all stakeholders
• Create and promote clear connection between events and employee programs, ROI and business drivers
• Manage team of communications professionals to ensure excellence in all events and communications and exceed expecations of key management
• Develop agency briefs, timelines, and materials needed to ensure successful and timely implementation of meetings, industry events and employee engagement
• Work with agencies and outside vendors to manage large events and ensure delivery of activations that are consistent with the Essilor brand and exceed expected results
• Measure and report results on all programs (performance, insights and analytics); deliver data driven, detailed recommendations for program optimization
• Ensure legal compliance with all plans, programs, written communication and initatives
• Meticulously track and report against budget and priorities
• Travel as required to site reviews, meetings, trainings, industry events and tradeshows
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Undergraduate degree and minimum 15 years of work experience in internal communications, corporate communications and events management
• Proven acumen to work across multiple business units, maintain and grow executive relationships and connect event and employee strategies across stakeholders
• Strong, creative and strategic writing and editing
• Ability create experiences and cultural moments that tie to business outcomes
• Excellent storyteller in written, video and digital content
• Ongoing commitment to innovation in communications
• Strong analytical skills including communications program ROI analysis
• Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and drive results in a fast paced, changing environment
• Consistently display strong critical thinking skills
• Customer-first mindset and keen attention to detail
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups and manage ambiguity
• Ability to influence change within an organization
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time
