DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in all aspects of company-wide financial planning, including the annual budget process and the commit-forecast process.
• Become a partner to the operations team and assist in providing information to assist in decision making and provide recommendations to management in helping move the business forward.
• Develop tools to track and monitor production and conversion activities on a monthly basis with respect to labor and overhead spending.
• Conduct actionable data analysis on business projects and investment opportunities including business line profitability & ROIC, capital projects reviews, business restructuring initiatives as well as new product development investment analysis.
• Create a robust business profitability tool that allows us to look at margin profiles across brands and customers
• Assist in due diligence procedures and provide pre and post-acquisition support, which may include:
◦ Revenue analysis and projections
◦ Quality of earnings reviews
◦ Post-acquisition integration around standardization of process and procedures
• Learn and understand the key drivers of our business and become a subject matter expert to assist business partners.
• Develop and maintain business models to support decision making processes.
• Help drive technical capabilities with front-end user tools and partnering with the business on back-end technology platforms and processes.
FACTORS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, accounting or similar field.
• Masters of Business Administration from accredited, well known program.
Experience
• 7-10 years of experience, preferably with a combination of consulting & corporate experience in the area of operations finance.
• Demonstrated background in FP&A activities with a hands-on approach to driving towards a solution.
• Experience with project leadership and experience with providing recommendations to executive leadership.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial modeling and the use of financial concepts such as ROIC, IRR and NPV.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to constructively explain business challenges to non-financial people, as well as the ability to effectively work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders at multiple levels.
