A key member of Regional Executive Team, this position leads Category, Marketing and Sensory Consumer Insights teams for the Flavors division in North America, developing, influencing and executing strategies that will drive regional performance towards long term Growth, Market Share gains and strong portfolio management. As with any matrix organized companies, it is expected that this position communicates and ensure alignment with other key stakeholders such as Commercial teams and Global Marketing and Global Strategic Insights
Directly accountable to drive 2 critical regional KPIs: Win Rate (% and $) and Project Pipeline generation by maximizing customer engagement and ensuring exposure to most appropriate portfolio IFF technologies and products.
Ensure proper integration of Global Innovation Programs into North America by feeding up relevant needs and cascading down key taste technologies.

Main responsibilities
• Drive Growth: Leads direct and dotted-line reports to develop and execute strategic initiatives for the region.
• Develop and deliver solid Category Strategies based on market evidence (consumers and customers); IFF capabilities & technologies and account needs
• Monitor regional category KPIs (Project Pipeline, Wins, Results from Initiatives) and lead action plans to correct deviations when needed
• Ensure proper understanding and recording of Flavor potential across all strategic categories IFF compete within respective geography
• Work with regional Commercial leaders to improve accounts strategy and execution of must win projects
• Lead win & losses analysis processes via regional category managers
• Articulate and coordinate resources to ensure IFF has competitive/relevant products and technology aligned with global and/or regional strategy.
• Connect and exchange with peers from other regions and functions best practices, including market & trend analysis, customer understanding, consumer insights, capability presentations across categories regionally and category initiatives
• Ensures that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained
• Fosters strong integration among key functions.
• Builds and maintains a strong talent pool within IFF’s category, marketing and SCI organizations and creates career development plans
• Coaching and development of Regional Category Managers, Regional SCI Manager and Regional Marketing Manager for best performance in delivering initiatives and results.

Required Experience:
Mandatory
• Graduate in Food Science, Food Engineering or Marketing
• Marketing or business management experience (at least 5-10 years)
• 3 to 5 years of people-management experience
• Fluent in English
