The Director of Global Supply Chain Planning is a key member of the Operations leadership team and is responsible for developing and executing the Global Supply Chain strategy which supports policy deployment and key company objectives.
• Manages the global supply chain planning team which supports Global Operations through best in class supply/demand planning and inventory management
• Develops and executes the process for delivery of global inventory management protocols
• Is a key owner of the S&OP process and engages in improvements to the process
• Aligns with Supply Chain initiatives and is part of the Global Operations Leadership team
• Actively focuses on Engagement of Supply Chain and purchasing associates across the company
• Develops and Executes Risk Management for Supply Chain
• Leads global distribution network optimization studies to determine appropriate metric driven needs for materials and materials processes
• Partners closely with Global Procurement to develop TPM buy plans incorporating accurate vendor lead-times for manufacturing and shipment, MOQ/EOQ, VMI, and safety stock programs
• Evaluate current system integrations and functionality and develop future strategies to ensure processes/systems can appropriately support hypergrowth of the company
Measurements:
• Operating Margin Expansion through Purchase Price Variance, Value Analysis/Value Engineering
• Spend Management, Transportation and Logistics Initiatives, and process efficiencies
• Inventory Velocity-Turns, DOH, Aging, Safety Stock, Min/Max, MOQ/EOQ, Inventory to Sales Ratios
• Forecast Accuracy
• Working Capital
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
• 10 years of experience in Global Supply Chain Planning/Operations/Inventory Management in cosmetics, CPG, retail, or ecomm companies
• 5+ years leading teams and developing direct reports
• Supply Chain experience with VAVE and New Product Development (NPD) process
• Willing to travel internationally up to 25%
