Associate Creative Director/Writer - Marcom
Job Summary
Apple is looking for an Associate Creative Director/Writer to join our marketing and communications team. You will empower a team of talented writers to create and write concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. You must have a deep love of Apple and Apple products. Your work will be seen by Apple customers the world over.
Key Qualifications
• We need an experienced ACD who has created work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film and video. You should be obsessed with excellent writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring. You will guide up and coming writers seeking to do the same. You must be willing to guide writing as well as write yourself.
• You should have roughly 5+ years of experience writing copy, providing creative direction, concepting, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.
Description
You’ll report directly to a Creative Director of writing. You’ll manage a team of writers. You’ll write, review, and empower campaigns for the Apple brand and products. You’ll present work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and Apple executives. You’ll collaborate with ACD/Art Directors to concept ideas and co-direct teams. You’ll work across disciplines to integrated strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising and new mediums of communication. You’ll work with project managers and creative directors to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic (or kind of realistic) and that deadlines are met. You should be ready to do the best work of your life.
